This laptop stand is a simple stand to keep the screen at aa height. But its sturdy enough for my 16.5″ laptop and quite useful to keep my laptop 3 inches up easily. It can lift the laptop further up to 5 inches but the keypad will be a bit vertical’ish and you might need a separate keyboard which might not be bad at all as the vertical’ish keypad won’t take lot of space on your desk.Overall, its a good product and an excellent value for money.

Simple and effective
This serves its purpose well. I use it for my MacBook Pro 16” while affixing my 360Insta Link webcam. Together it gives me ideal height for recording my own videos. Besides enabling change in height, it also makes it easier for a touch typist like me to use the keyboard for prolonged typing. Lastly, i find it useful because it provides good ventilation to the laptop fan.The stand is made of solid aluminium perhaps and is quite sturdy. We use it sometimes to place my iPad for watching movies or FaceTime also. Certainly good value for money.

Budget friendly laptop stand
For the given price, I must say it’s a good product.The only drawback is my MacBook Air slips if the laptop is too steep on it. It’s good to use up to 3 levels. The build quality is also steady.

not for 14 inch laptops. needs a serious revision of design for a 14 inch size.
When you open your laptop, the lid folds down to a level close to the base. However, because this stand is longer than 14 inches, the lid ends up resting on the stand instead of the base of the laptop. This puts unintended stress on the hinges, turning them into a load-bearing point. will upload illustration some other day.Over time, this can lead to hinge loosening, misalignment, or even issues like screen wobble or damage to the display cable that runs through the hinge area, which is because the stand converts the laptop lid into a bearing point.Build quality also seems inconsistent — on my unit, one hinge was noticeably loose while the other was too tight. As others have mentioned, this stand creates more problems than it solves. it is not like this for 15.6 laptops though.Update: the stand has started picking up rust at its folding pivot.
